EXPANSION JOINTING APPARATUS FOR A BRIDGE
An expansion joint device for a bridge is disclosed. The expansion joint device for a bridge comprises: a pair of fixing brackets each extending in a transverse direction of the bridge and fixed to one upper plate in a longitudinal direction and the other upper plate in the longitudinal direction of the bridge, respectively; a pair of finger plates, each of which is fixed to an upper side of the pair of fixing brackets, extends in the transverse direction, and has surfaces facing each other which are engaged with each other; a waterproofing member extending in the transverse direction in the inner space formed between the pair of fixing brackets to close the inner space upward; and a plurality of anchors which are provided at intervals from each other in the transverse direction with respect to each of the pair of fixing brackets, and each of which has an upper part fixed to each of the pair of fixing brackets and a lower part embedded in each of the one upper plate and the other upper plate. The length of the anchor in a vertical direction is adjustable.
