The present invention relates to an anti-freezing unit for a faucet including a faucet body (1) extended forward and backward to have a pipeline formed therein, having a base end installed on a wall or a washbasin (4) and having a spout (2) formed on the lower surface of a front end thereof, and a faucet lever (3) having one end coupled to the base end of the faucet body (1) to be vertically rotatable to open and close the pipeline of the faucet body (1) in accordance with vertical rotation, wherein the anti-freezing unit includes: a fixed body (20) integrated with the faucet body (1) or the faucet lever (3) or separately formed and fixed so as to protrude upward from the faucet body (1) or protrude downward from the faucet lever (3); and a height control bar (40) coupled to the fixed body (20) to be vertically stretchable. When the front end of the height control bar (40) comes in contact with the lower surface of the faucet lever (3) or the upper surface of the faucet body (1) as the faucet lever (3) is rotated downward, the pipeline of the faucet body (1) is kept partially open without being closed, thereby continuously discharging a small amount of water through the spout (2) of the faucet body (1) to prevent a freezing burst.
본 발명은 내부에 관로가 형성되도록 전후로 연장되며 기단이 벽면이나 세면대(4)에 설치되고 선단 저면에는 토수구(2)가 형성된 수전몸체(1)와, 이 수전몸체(1)의 기단부쪽에 일단이 상하로 회동가능하게 결합되어 상하회동에 따라 수전몸체(1)의 관로를 개폐하는 수전레버(3)를 포함하는 수전의 동파방지구(10)에 있어서, 상기 수전몸체(1)에서 상향돌출되거나 또는 수전레버(3)에서 하향돌출되도록 수전몸체(1) 또는 수전레버(3)에 일체로 형성되거나 별체로 이루어져서 고정되는 고정몸체(20); 및 상기 고정몸체(20)에 상하로 신축가능하게 결합된 높이조절바(40);를 포함하며, 상기 수전레버(3)가 하향 회동되어 높이조절바(40)의 선단이 수전레버(3)의 저면 또는 수전몸체(1)의 상면에 접촉되면 수전몸체(1)의 관로가 폐쇄되지 않고 일부 개방된 상태로 유지되어 소량의 물이 수전몸체(1)의 토수구(2)를 통해 지속적으로 배출됨에 따라 동파가 방지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수전용 동파방지구이다.
