The present invention relates to: a phosphor which is synthesized by using a solution combustion method, and is represented by Zr_(1-x)O_2:xRE^(3+) (In equation, RE is Eu, Tb, Dy, Ce, Er, Yb, Pr, Nd, Sm, or Ho, and x is greater than 0 and equal to or less than 0.3); and a preparing method of the phosphor. The red, green or blue phosphor powder can be simply and inexpensively produced by the solution combustion method in order to implement a white LED, and white light can be implemented through a combination of the phosphor powders.

용액연소법을 이용하여 합성되며, ZrO:xRE(식 중, RE는 Eu, Tb, Dy, Ce, Er, Yb, Pr, Nd, Sm, 또는 Ho 이며, 0＜x≤0.3임)로 표시되는 형광체, 및 상기 형광체의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 백색 LED를 구현하기 위하여 간단하고 저렴하게 적색, 녹색, 또는 청색 형광체 분말을 용액연소법으로 각각 제조할 수 있으며, 이들 형광체 분말의 조합을 통해 백색광을 구현할 수 있다.
