The present invention relates to a nozzle and, more particularly, to a submerged nozzle for continuous casting that is capable of preventing nozzle blocking by low-melting liquid material formation resulting from reaction with an alumina (Al_2O_3) filler. The nozzle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a tubular nozzle body; an inner hole portion provided to surround at least a part of an inner wall of the nozzle body; and a discharge port provided in a lower portion of the nozzle body. The inner hole portion is formed of a mixture including calcium zirconate (CaZrO_3), calcium silicate (CaSiO_3), dicalcium silicate (2CaO·SiO_2), graphite (C), and boron carbide (B_4C).
본 발명은 노즐에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 알루미나(AlO) 개재물과 반응하여 저융점의 액상 물질을 형성하여 노즐 막힘을 방지할 수 있는 연속 주조용 침지 노즐에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 노즐은 관 형상의 노즐 몸체; 상기 노즐 몸체의 내벽의 적어도 일부를 둘러싸도록 마련되는 내공부; 및 상기 노즐 몸체의 하부에 마련되는 토출구를 포함하고, 상기 내공부는 칼슘지르코네이트(CaZrO), 칼슘실리케이트(CaSiO), 디칼슘실리케이트(2CaO·SiO), 흑연(C) 및 보론카바이드(BC)를 포함하는 혼합물로 형성된다.
