ZNS NANO POWDER CERAMICS FOR INFRARED TRANSMITTANCE HAVING CUBIC STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Disclosed are a ZnS nano powder pellet having a cubic structure for transmitting an infrared ray and a method for manufacturing the same, capable of easily manufacturing the ZnS nano powder pellet by simplifying the manufacturing processes, and improving a property of a material such as relative density and transmittance of the infrared ray while saving the manufacturing cost, wherein ZnO nano powder is synthesized by hydrothermal process, which is one of solution processes, using ZnSO_4·7H_2O and Na_2S·9H_2O, and sintered by either one of spark plasma sintering (SPS) and hot press (HP)· According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing the ZnS nano powder pellet for transmitting the infrared ray having the cubic structure includes the steps of: (a) mixing ZnSO_4·7H_2O and Na_2S·9H_2O into a solvent in a weight ratio of more than 1:1 to less than 1:1.3 and synthesizing the ZnSO_4·7H_2O and Na_2S·9H_2O by a hydrothermal process for 1-24 hours at a temperature of 100-240°C; (b) filtering and drying the reactant synthesized by the hydrothermal process and obtaining the ZnS nano powder; and (c) sintering the obtained ZnS nano powder at a temperature of 900-1,000°C and forming the ZnS nano powder pellet.
ZnSOㆍ7HO와 NaSㆍ9HO를 이용하여 액상 공정(Solution Process) 중 한 방법인 수열합성법으로 ZnO 나노분말을 획득한 후, SPS(Spark Plasma Sintering) 또는 HP(Hot Press) 방법으로 소결함으로써, 제조 공정이 단순하여 쉽게 제조할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 제조 단가를 낮추면서도, 상대밀도, 적외선 광투과도 등의 물성을 향상시킬 수 있는 큐빅 구조를 갖는 적외선 투과용 ZnS 나노분말 소결체 및 그 제조 방법에 대하여 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 큐빅 구조를 갖는 적외선 투과용 ZnS 나노분말 소결체 제조 방법은 (a) ZnSOㆍ7HO 및 NaSㆍ9HO를 1 : 1 초과 ~ 1 : 1.3 미만의 중량비로 용매에 혼합하여 100 ~ 240℃에서 1 ~ 24시간 동안 수열합성하는 단계; (b) 상기 수열합성된 반응물을 필터링 및 건조하여 ZnS 나노분말을 수득하는 단계; 및 (c) 상기 수득한 ZnS 나노분말을 900 ~ 1,000℃에서 소결하여 ZnS 나노분말 소결체를 형성하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
