Disclosed in the present invention are a ZnS sintered body for infrared transmission and a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing the ZnS sintered body for infrared transmission according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a step of obtaining ZnS by mixing a zinc compound and a sodium compound with a solvent and conducting first thermal treatment; a step of conducting second thermal treatment of the ZnS which has undergone the first thermal treatment; and a step of forming a ZnS sintered body by sintering the ZnS which has undergone the second thermal treatment. According to one embodiment, impurities existing in ZnS can be removed.
본 발명은 적외선 투과용 ZnS 소결체 및 그 제조 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 적외선 투과용 ZnS 소결체를 제조하는 방법은 아연 화합물 및 나트륨 화합물을 용매에 혼합한 후 제 1 열처리하여 ZnS를 수득하는 단계, 상기 제 1 열처리된 ZnS를 제 2 열처리하는 단계 및 상기 제 2 열처리된 ZnS를 소결하여 ZnS 소결체를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
