Disclosed are a deep sea mining system and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the deep sea mining system comprises: a mining robot mining submarine minerals in the sea floor; a buffer connected to the mining robot through a mining pipe to temporarily store submarine minerals by receiving the submarine minerals from the mining robot; and a flange structure integrally coupled to a riser lifting the submarine minerals temporarily stored in the buffer to a mining vessel, wherein the buffer is able to rotatably be coupled to the flange structure.
해저광물 양광시스템 및 그 제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 해저광물 양광시스템은, 해저면의 해저광물을 채광하는 채광로봇; 상기 채광로봇와 채광파이프를 통해 연결되어, 상기 채광로봇으로부터 해저광물을 이송받아 일시 저장하는 버퍼; 및 상기 버퍼에 일시 저장된 상기 해저광물을 채광선박으로 리프팅하는 라이저에 일체로 결합된 플랜지 구조체를 포함하되, 상기 버퍼는 상기 플랜지 구조체에 대해 회전 가능하게 결합될 수 있다.

Disclosed are a deep sea mining system and a control method thereof.
