The present invention provides a building material using coffee grounds and a manufacturing method thereof configured to, when the coffee grounds are bleached, make a base material so that the degree of whiteness of the coffee grounds is 50% or more by adding pulverized clogs or talc, and use the coffee grounds having a vivid color by coloring the base material with colorants of various colors desired by a manufacturer, thereby being able to overcome the limitation of a reuse range due to an inherent dark color of the conventional coffee grounds and to use the coffee grounds in various products to manufacture high-value-added building materials.
본 발명은, 커피찌꺼기 표백시 분쇄된 폐각이나 탈크 등을 첨가하여 커피찌꺼기의 백색도가 50% 이상이 되도록 베이스재료를 만들고, 상기 베이스재료에 제작자가 원하는 다양한 색상의 착색제를 착색하여 선명한 색상을 가지는 커피찌꺼기를 사용함으로써, 종래의 커피찌꺼기가 가지는 고유의 어두운 색상으로 인한 재사용 범위의 한계를 극복하여 다양한 제품에 사용하여 고부가가치의 건축용 자재를 제조할 수 있는 커피찌꺼기를 이용한 건축용 자재 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다.
