    In a washing machine having a door locking apparatus to maintain an opening to be closed by a door, the locking apparatus comprises: a latch restricting a door by moving in a first direction, and moving in a second direction opposite to the first direction to release the restriction of the door; and a locker restricting the latch to move in the second direction. Through the composition, the door can be opened, closed, and restricted by one apparatus.

    도어가 개구를 닫은 상태로 유지시키는 도어 락킹장치를 구비하는 세탁기에 있어서, 도어락킹장치는, 제 1 방향으로 이동하여 도어를 구속하고, 제 1 방향과 반대인 제 2 방향으로 이동하여 도어에 대한 구속을 해제하는 래치 및 래치가 제 2 방향으로 이동하는 것을 제한하는 락커를 포함한다. 이러한 구성을 통해 도어의 개폐, 구속, 개방동작을 하나의 장치로 구현할 수 있게 된다.
