The present invention relates to a log riffle weir that is built with log and stone. According to the present invention, the log riffle weir is configured to have a plurality of unit riffle weirs (10) over two stages installed to be spaced apart from each other over upper and lower streams, each unit riffle weir being made by fixing round wood (11) laminated one floor or two or more floors on a bed (3) of river (2) transversely to both banks (4) to prevent the flow of water from being blocked by the round wood (11) to raise a level of upper stream, the unit riffle weirs adjacent to each other up and down being tiltedly disposed in left and right sides in a zigzag form in the opposite direction to each other to allow the flow of water to flow to the lower stream from a low water level portion (L) having a low inclination in the zigzag form, and is further configured to have fish catching paths (20) formed on the beds (2) between the adjacent unit riffle weirs (10) to connect the low water level portion (L) of the unit riffle weir (10) located on the upper stream and the low water level portion (L) of the unit riffle weir (10) located on the lower stream, so that the water overflowing to the low water level portion (L) of the unit riffle weir (10) located on the upper stream flows in left and right sides in the zigzag form toward the low water level portion (L) of the unit riffle weir (10) located on the lower stream through the fish catching paths (20).
본 발명에 따른 통나무 여울보(1)는, 하천(2)의 하상(3) 위에 1층 또는 2층 이상 적층한 원주목(11)을 양안(4)을 가로질러 횡으로 고정함으로써 상기 원주목(11)이 하천(2)의 유수의 흐름을 막아 그 상류의 수위가 상승되게 하는 단위여울보(10)를, 유수의 흐름에 맞게 하류로 갈수록 수위 높이가 낮아지게, 상류와 하류에 걸쳐 일정 간격을 두고 2단 이상 다수 설치하고; 상하 인접한 상기 단위여울보(10)는, 서로 반대방향으로 좌우 지그재그로 경사지게 설치되어서, 각각의 상기 단위여울보(10)를 월류하여 상류에서 하류로 흐르는 유수는, 각각의 상기 단위여울보(10)의 경사가 낮은 저수위부(L) 쪽에서부터 하류로 지그재그로 흘러 내려가며; 각각의 상기 단위여울보(10) 사이의 하상(2)에는, 상류에 위치하는 상기 단위여울보(10)의 상기 저수위부(L)와 하류에 위치하는 상기 단위여울보(10)의 상기 저수위부(L)를 연결하는 일정 폭과 깊이의 도랑 형상의 어로(20)가 형성되어서, 상류에 위치하는 상기 단위여울보(10)의 상기 저수위부(L)를 월류한 유수가 하류에 위치하는 상기 단위여울보(10)의 상기 저수위부(L)로 상기 어로(20)를 통해 좌우 지그재그로 흐르는 것을 특징으로 한다.
