MECHANICAL COUPLER OF REBAR
The present invention discloses a mechanical coupler which facilitates coupling operation of a rebar, prevents deterioration in fastening force caused by a gap from a cover in a cover type coupling method, and is proper for coupling an FRP rebar. The mechanical coupler of a rebar of the present invention comprises: one pair of bodies having the inner diameter continuously reduced toward a center portion at the inside thereof while being discontinuously increasing by a certain interval to form a step toward the center thereof, formed with a screw thread upwardly inclining from both sides to the central direction at the outside thereof, and being bound to the side surface of the rebar by being fitted and coupled at the side surface of the rebar; and a nut type pressing plate fastened and coupled via the inclined screw thread of the outside of the body.
본 발명에 의해 보강근에 대한 이음 작업을 용이하게 하고, 덮개식 이음 방식에 있어서 덮개의 간극에 의한 결속력 저하를 방지하며, FRP 보강근의 이음에 적합한 기계식 커플러가 개시된다. 본 발명은 내부에 내경이 양측에서 중심부를 향하여 연속적으로 감소하되 일정간격으로 불연속적으로 증가하여 중심을 향한 단차가 형성되고, 외부에 양측에서 중심방향으로 높아지는 경사진 나사산이 형성되며, 보강근 측면에서 끼움 결합되어 결착되는 한 쌍의 몸통과, 상기 몸통 외부의 경사진 나사산으로 조임 결합되는 너트식 지압판으로 구성된 보강근의 기계식 커플러를 제공한다.
