ARTIFICIAL LIGHT WEIGHT AGGREGATES COMPOSITION USING CEMENT ZERO BINDER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a non-sintered artificial lightweight aggregate composition using a non-cement binder, which comprises a lightweight material, the non-cement binder, a thickener, and water; and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the manufacturing method comprises: a mixture manufacturing step of mixing a lightweight material, a non-cement binder and a thickener; a forming step of mixing water with the mixture manufactured through the mixture manufacturing step to form the same into a granular shape; a curing step of curing a formed product formed through the forming step with steam; and a drying step of drying the cured product cured through the curing step. Accordingly, the artificial lightweight aggregate is manufactured at a low manufacturing cost through a simple manufacturing process and provides excellent lightweight, insulation, incombustibility and mechanical properties, thereby reducing cost and increasing lightweight property, constructability, workability and the like when applied to concrete or ready mixed concrete.
