The present invention relates to a method for constructing a revetment in an island region using geotubes and ripraps capable of minimizing riprap transport inland and a structure thereof. The method for constructing a revetment in an island region using geotubes and ripraps capable of minimizing riprap transport inland includes: a geotube constructing step of constructing a plurality of geotubes so as to construct the revetment in the island region; a filter layer constructing step of constructing a predetermined filter layer on the constructed geotubes; a riprap filling step of spreading and filling the ripraps over an outer side of the filter layer; and a protective layer constructing step of constructing a protective layer on the ripraps.
