The present invention relates to an opening/closing device of a chain type overhead door, and more specifically, to a chain type overhead door in which, instead of a wire rope, a chain is adopted as a driving means for opening and closing a door so as to prevent failure of an overhead door, which might occur when the wire rope is separated from a drum. Provided is an overhead door which comprises: a plurality of slats hinged to each other and including rollers installed on both sides thereof, wherein as the plurality of slats elevate, a door is opened and closed; a track extending along both sides and the ceiling of the door so as to guide rollers installed on the plurality of slats; a shaft rotatably installed across an upper end of the door and provided with sprockets formed on both sides thereof; a motor provided to rotate the shaft; a chain installed on both sides of the door and provided to rotate while having an upper portion thereof engaged with the sprockets of the shaft and a lower portion thereof engaged with idling sprockets provided on the bottom of the door, wherein a part of the chain is coupled with the slats and rotates and thus, the slats ascend and descend; and a balancing means provided to reduce a load by the weight when the slats ascend.
본 발명은 체인형 오버헤드도어 개폐장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 도어를 개폐하기 위한 구동수단으로 와이어로프 대신 체인을 채택하여 드럼으로부터 와이어로프가 이탈하여 발생하는 오버헤드도어의 고장을 미연에 방지할 수 있도록 된 채인형 오버헤드도어에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 서로 힌지 결합되고 양측에 롤러가 설치되며 승강함에 따라 출입문이 개폐되는 복수의 슬랫과, 상기 복수의 슬랫에 설치된 롤러를 가이드하도록 출입문의 양측과 천정을 따라 연장되는 트랙과, 상기 출입문의 상단을 가로질러 회전가능하게 설치되며 양측에 스프라켓이 형성된 샤프트와; 상기 샤프트를 회전시키도록 구비된 모터와; 상부는 상기 샤프트의 스프라켓에 치합되고 하부는 출입문의 바닥에 구비된 아이들링 스프라켓에 치합되어 회전하며 일부가 상기 슬랫에 결합되어 회전함에 따라 상기 슬랫이 승강하도록 상기 출입문의 양측에 설치된 체인과; 상기 슬랫의 상승시 자중에 의한 부하를 줄여주기 위한 밸런싱 수단;을 포함하는 오버헤드도어를 제공한다.
