The present invention relates to an assembling and gap finishing material for a deck, which finishes a gap (4) between decks (2) installed at intervals in a lengthwise direction in a deck assembly including a plurality of supporting bars (1) arranged side by side, and a plurality of decks composed of elongated rectangles, having insertion grooves (3) formed on both side surfaces in a widthwise direction, installed to cross with the supporting bars (1), and installed at intervals in a lengthwise direction and in a widthwise direction. The assembling and gap finishing material for a deck comprises: a bracket (10) consisting of an upper plate (11), and a pair of side plates (12, 13) protruding downward from both end parts of the upper plate (11) and having an interval (d1) between inner circumference surfaces formed to be relatively larger than the outer width (d2) of the supporting bars (1), to be inserted into the supporting bars (1); elastic protrusions (14, 15) protruding inward from the inner side surface of either or both of the side plates (12, 13) of the bracket (10) to be supported elastically on the supporting bars (1); and an expanding and contracting strip (20) arranged on the upper plate (11) of the bracket, arranged in a gap (4) between the decks (2), extending in the widthwise direction of the decks (2), and expanded and contracted in a widthwise direction by the expansion and contraction of the decks in a lengthwise direction.
