According to an embodiment of the present invention, a locking device for a folding door comprises: a driving unit stored inside a frame of a folding door, elastically supporting shaft rods connected to each of an upper side and a lower side, and vertically moving the shaft rod; a handle unit exposed to the outside of the frame to be connected to the driving unit and enable coupling of the shaft rod to be released from a folding door while widened to the outside by external force; and a locking unit fixating a released state of the shaft rod from the folding door while the handle unit is widened toward the outside. Therefore, the frame of the folding door gets slim to secure visibility and has reduced weight to be easily transported and loaded.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 폴딩도어용 잠금장치는 폴딩도어의 프레임 내측에 수용되며, 상부측과 하부측에 각각 연결된 축봉을 탄성지지하면서 수직방향으로 이동시키는 구동부와, 상기 프레임의 외측에 노출되어 상기 구동부와 연결되고, 외력에 의해 외측으로 벌어지면서 상기 축봉이 상기 폴딩도어로부터 결합해제되도록 하는 손잡이부 및 상기 손잡이부가 외측으로 벌어지면서 상기 축봉이 상기 폴딩도어로부터 결합해제된 상태로 고정시키는 잠금부를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 폴딩도어의 프레임이 슬림해져 시안성이 확보되며, 무게가 가벼워 운반 및 적재가 용이하다.
