The present invention provides a food waste grinding apparatus having a dual grinding blade part in a vertical direction and a grinding ring with a protruding blade on the outside of the grinding blade part to secondarily grind food waste primarily ground by an upper grinding blade by a lower grinding blade and tertiarily grind food waste by the protruding blade formed on the inner circumferential surface of the grinding ring to effectively grind food waste. The food waste grinding apparatus comprises: a hopper (20) installed to communicate with a drain of a sink, and having an outlet (214) for discharging food waste; a first chamber (30) coupled to a lower portion of the hopper (20), and having an internal space (31) for accommodating food waste entering through the drain of the sink; a grinding mechanism (40) installed in the internal space (31) of the first chamber (30) to grind food waste; and a second chamber (50) communicating with the internal space (31) of the first chamber (30) through a communication pipe (60), and having an accommodation space (51) for accommodating food waste ground by the grinding mechanism (40).
본 발명은 분쇄날부를 상하 이중으로 구성하고, 분쇄날부의 외측에 돌출날이 형성된 분쇄링을 구성함으로써 상부분쇄날에 의해 1차 분쇄된 음식물 쓰레기는 하부분쇄날에 의해 2차 분쇄됨과 동시에 분쇄링의 내주면에 형성되는 돌출날에 의해 3차 분쇄되도록 하여 음식물 쓰레기를 더욱 효과적으로 분쇄할 수 있도록 하는 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄장치를 제공한다. 본 발명은 싱크대의 배수구와 연통되게 설치되고, 음식물 쓰레기를 배출하기 위한 배출구(214)를 갖는 호퍼(20)와; 상기 호퍼(20)의 하부와 결합되고, 상기 싱크대의 배수구를 통해 유입되는 음식물 쓰레기를 수용하기 위한 내부공간(31)을 갖는 제1챔버(30)와; 상기 제1챔버(30)의 내부공간(31)에 설치되고, 음식물 쓰레기를 분쇄하기 위한 분쇄기구(40)와; 상기 제1챔버(30)의 내부공간(31)과 연통관(60)을 통해 연통되고, 상기 분쇄기구(40)에 의해 분쇄된 음식물 쓰레기를 수용하기 위한 수용공간(51)을 갖는 제2챔버(50)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
