PIGMENT GRANULATION PROCESS AND METHOD OF USE FOR COLORING BUILDING MATERIALS
A pigment granule having an irregular polyhedral shape with rounded edges and a method for the production of the granules by the use of a high speed agitated granulating machine provided with agitating means for agitating a pigment substance for granulation, spray means for spraying or injecting a binding liquid on the pigment substance while the mixture is processed through the turbulizer and drying means for drying the particles, characterized by effecting the production by causing the means to act on the substance for granulation simultaneously thereby performing the agitating and granulation.
L'invention concerne un granulé de pigment ayant une forme polyédrique irrégulière avec des bords arrondis et un procédé de production des granulés par l'utilisation d'une machine de granulation agitée à grande vitesse muni d'un moyen d'agitation pour agiter une substance de pigment pour la granulation, d'un moyen de pulvérisation pour pulvériser ou injecter un liquide de liaison sur la substance de pigment pendant que le mélange est traité par le turbulateur et d'un moyen de séchage pour sécher les particules, caractérisé en qu'il effectue la production en amenant les moyens à agir sur la substance simultanément pour la granulation, ce qui permet d'effectuer l'agitation et la granulation.
