Das Verfahren zeichnet sich durch die folgenden Schritte aus: Bereitstellen von zwei plattenförmigen Kernhälften (41a, 41b), von denen zumindest eine mindestens eine Ausnehmung (42) aufweist, die sich nur entlang eines Abschnitts einer Seitenfläche (412) der Kernhälfte (41a, 41b) erstreckt; Einsetzen eines Beschlag (30) oder eines Beschlaggehäuses in die mindestens eine Ausnehmung (42) und Zusammenfügen der beiden Kernhälften (41a, 41b) zu einem Verbundelement (40), das den Beschlag (30) bzw. das Beschlaggehäuse umschließt, wobei die Seitenflächen (412) beider Kernhälfte (41a, 41b) aufeinanderliegen; Aufbringen einer Schmalflächenbeschichtung (43) auf zumindest eine quer zur Seitenfläche (412) ausgerichtete Stirnfläche des Verbundelements (40); und Einbringen einer Öffnung (44), die bis zu dem Beschlag (30) bzw. dem Beschlaggehäuse reicht, in einen Abschnitts der zumindest einen Stirnfläche. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine nach einem derartigen Verfahren hergestellte Wand für einen Möbelkorpus (10) und eine Möbel oder einen Möbelkorpus (10) mit einer solchen Wand.
