SLIDING AND PIVOTING REAR VEHICLE DOOR
A door opening system for a rear door of a motor vehicle in which a rear door first moves backwards and outwardly away from the car shell prior to the rear door then swinging outwardly away from the front of the car. The car shell does not have a B-pillar so that a large, convenient opening is provide with the front door opening forwardly and the rear door opening rearwardly. The door opening system includes: a car shell; a rear slider rail attached to the car shell; a rear door hinge assembly configured to move along the rear slider rail; with the rear door mounted onto the rear door hinge assembly, wherein the rear door hinge assembly moves along the rear slider rail in a direction rearwardly and away from the car shell prior to the rear door being outwardly rotatable on the rear door hinge assembly.
L'invention concerne un système d'ouverture de porte pour une porte arrière d'un véhicule automobile, dans lequel une porte arrière se déplace d'abord vers l'arrière et vers l'extérieur par rapport à la carrosserie d'automobile avant que la porte arrière ne pivote vers l'extérieur à l'opposé de l'avant de l'automobile. La carrosserie d'automobile n'a pas de pilier B de telle sorte qu'une ouverture grande et pratique est ménagée du fait que la porte avant s'ouvre vers l'avant et la porte arrière s'ouvre vers l'arrière. Le système d'ouverture de porte comprend : une carrosserie d'automobile ; un rail de glissement arrière fixé à la carrosserie d'automobile ; un ensemble charnière de porte arrière configuré pour se déplacer le long du rail de glissement arrière ; la porte arrière montée sur l'ensemble charnière de porte arrière, l'ensemble charnière de porte arrière se déplaçant le long du rail de glissement arrière dans une direction vers l'arrière et à l'opposé de la carrosserie d'automobile avant que la porte arrière ne puisse tourner vers l'extérieur sur l'ensemble charnière de porte arrière.
