Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur thermischen Behandlung mineralischer Feststoffe, wobei die Vorrichtung wenigstens einen Vorwärmer und einen Flugstromreaktor (10) aufweist, wobei am Ausgang des Flugstromreaktors (10) eine Abscheidevorrichtung (20) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Ausgang des Gasstromes der Abscheidevorrichtung (20) eine thermische Behandlungszone (30) angeordnet ist, wobei der Ausgang der thermischen Behandlungszone (30) mit dem Eingang für den Gasstrom des Vorwärmers verbunden ist.
