Disclosed is a horizontal-pushing-type window opening device, comprising: a box body (1); a first electric motor (3) and a second electric motor (18), which are respectively arranged at the upper end and the lower end in the box body (1); a sliding table (6) driven by the first electric motor (3); a rotating table (4) driven by the second electric motor (18); and an extension rod (8) driven by the sliding table (6). The extension rod (8) is a scissor fork mechanism which is formed by scissor fork arms in a hinged manner, the upper end of the extension rod (8) is hinged to the sliding table (6) and is axially rotatable, and the lower end of the extension rod (8) is hinged to the rotating table (4); when the upper end of the extension rod (8) is pressed, an outer end of the extension rod (8) extends out to be used for pushing a window outer frame (9) or a window inner frame (10); and when the upper end of the extension rod (8) is lifted, the outer end of the extension rod (8) is retracted.
