The present invention relates to a panel comprising a wire mesh (2) sandwiched on a front and opposing rear face by a first sheet (1) and a second sheet (1), wherein the first and second sheets (1) are bonded together, and the wire mesh (2) is embedded in each of said first and second sheets (1) such that overall thickness of the panel is the thickness of the first sheet (1) plus the thickness of the second sheet (1). A door comprising the aforementioned panel is also disclosed, the door comprising a door core and sandwiched on a front and opposing rear face by a first and second panel described above. A method of manufacturing the door panel and a door made from said door panel is also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un panneau comprenant un treillis métallique (2) pris en sandwich sur une face avant et une face arrière opposée par une première feuille (1) et une seconde feuille (1), les première et seconde feuilles (1) étant liées ensemble, et le treillis métallique (2) étant intégré dans chacune desdites première et seconde feuilles (1) de telle sorte que l'épaisseur globale du panneau corresponde à l'épaisseur de la première feuille (1) plus l'épaisseur de la seconde feuille (1). L'invention concerne également une porte comprenant le panneau susmentionné, la porte comprenant un noyau de porte et étant prise en sandwich sur une face avant et une face arrière opposée par un premier et un second panneau tels que décrits ci-dessus. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication du panneau de porte et une porte fabriquée à partir dudit panneau de porte.
