A RESCUE TENT FOR EMERGENCY USE
An emergency rescue tent (1, 200) can be erected rapidly and conveniently to be lowered over a casualty. It is for use with any casualty or person seeking medical assistance, helping to keep him or her safe from further danger. This tent has an inflatable frame (10, 250) and a cover (50, 260) with panels (60-62, 230) which open to provide access and windows (63, 64, 235) for visibility. The frame has arches (11, 12, 13) and longitudinal struts (14-17) between the arches. The longitudinal struts are above ground level and so allow flexibility for vertical level of the feet on uneven terrain and also, they do not provide any obstruction to side access by an emergency responder. Also, there are no struts across gable end arches (11, 13, 411, 413) and so there is no obstruction to end access. The tent (1) provides a casualty with protection and privacy in emergency situations without having to be moved and where medical assistance is required, safeguarding the well-being and dignity of patients by shielding them from weather elements, public and social media and reducing anxiety while allow the responders to stabilise the casualty or wait for further assistance or transport.
