Settlement Analysis of Pool Foundation Near the Slope Excavation
The excavation of a slope will break the balance of the soil and make the soil deform to the free face. If there are structures on the top of the slope, the safety of the structures will be affected. To study the settlement characteristics and laws of the foundation of the adjacent pool structure in the process of slope excavation, the numerical simulation method was used to simulate the construction process, and the settlement characteristics of the foundation of the pool structure under the influence of the adjacent slope excavation were obtained. The results show that after the anti-slide pile construction and soil excavation are completed, the ground surface settlement curve behind the pile is “ √ ” shape and the maximum ground surface settlement is -10.76 mm. During construction, the foundation settlement value on the east side of the pool structure is generally greater than that on the west side, and the settlement value on the north side is generally greater than that on the south side. The maximum additional settlement of the pool structure is -9.51 mm, and the maximum additional overall inclination value is 0.21 %∘. The maximum additional settlement of the foundation of the pool structure is located at the southeast corner of the structure, and the maximum inclination value is at the south side of the pool structure along the width direction. The maximum settlement value is less than 10 mm, the inclination value is generally small, and the structure is relatively safe. The settlement deformation of the pool foundation near the excavation side mainly occurs in the anti-slide pile construction stage, and the settlement deformation of the pool foundation far away from the excavation site mainly occurs in the soil excavation stage. In different stages of the construction process, the monitoring of structural foundation settlement shall be strengthened, and the foundation settlement value and inclination value shall be strictly controlled to ensure the safety of structures during the construction process.
