Research on Innovative Design of Dai Bamboo Furniture Based on Finite Element Analysis by Computer Software
For the inheritance, development, and design innovation of Dai traditional bamboo furniture, the typical Dai traditional bamboo products were transformed, and theoretical guidance was provided for the transitional and innovative characteristic furniture. First, we surveyed and analyzed statistics on Dai furniture, and created prototypes of Dai traditional bamboo furniture with innovative designs while retaining the typical characteristics of the Dai people. By decomposing and extracting the archetypes of traditional Dai furniture elements, the innovative design of Dai bamboo chairs was created based on the prototype characteristics of the original elements. The finite element method was used to verify the feasibility of the experimental results, proving the practicality and feasibility of finite element analysis in ethnic furniture innovation.
