The purpose of the report is to analyze the various existing conditions in the central business area (CBD) of the city of Bushnell, Illinois, and to present plan proposals to correct immediate detrimental conditions. Railroad division of the CBD; development goals, objectives, and urban design plans for the long-range future are discussed. Because the movement of the economy is from rural to urban, it is planned to off-set a possible decline in business development and a loss of the shopping dollar to regional shopping areas of Macomb, Galesburg, and elsewhere by revitalization of the central business district.
