The report covers a detailed characterization of the performance of prestressed concrete pavement, in terms of failures, joint movement, steel stresses, and prestressed concrete pavement stresses, that has been derived from information collected in previous general and specific studies. The project has contributed information in connection with strand placement, anchorage, early stressing, subbase friction, and fatigue test. A detailed design procedure has been developed that considers the interaction of thickness, joint spacing, and post tensioning range and level to cover a wide range of input variables for a specific location.
