Project M-5053(1) - Improvement of a 0.9 Mile Segment of 27th Street, A Federal Aid Urban System Route from 'A' Street to 'N' Street in the City of Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska
The project will consist of reconstructing the existing two-lane facility to a four-lane urban type facility with medians in a portion of the project. The lanes will vary in width to a maximum of 12 feet wide, exclusive of the width of combination curb and gutter, and medians will vary to a maximum of 15 feet in width. Minimum width of roadways will be 51 feet without medians and 62 feet with full width medians. The proposed project will also include traffic signal renovation and street lighting improvements. Minor intersection improvement is contemplated at the intersection of 27th Street and Randolph Street. Major improvements are planned for the intersection of 27th Street with Capital Parkway. Environmental impacts are discussed.
