The proposed improvement provides a high capacity roadway facility which will meet the service requirements of an area located in and near the southern urban limits of Lincoln, NB. The proposal involves intersection improvements and the widening of the present two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway beginning approximately one-quarter mile northwest of the intersection of Pioneers Boulevard and N-2 near the Nebraska State Penal Complex, thence proceeding southeasterly along N-2 terminating at a point approximately one-half mile east of the intersection of N-2 and Old Cheney Road. Environmental impacts are discussed.
