Trunk Highway 60 in Jackson, Cottonwood and Watonwan Counties, Minnesota
The proposed location of the trunk highway 60 begins approximately 1.5 miles southwest of the city of Windom, proceeds around the south and east side of Windom, crossing the Des Moines River. Continuing northeasterly, south of and adjacent to the C. and N.W. RR. tracks, the route by-passes the south edge of the Villages of Bingham Lake and Mt. Lake and terminates at the west corporate limits of Butterfield at County Road 102. The eastern terminus will provide continuity of previously approved highway location, design and construction to the east where it intersects with trunk highway 169 near Mankato. The length of the proposed projects is 20.7 miles. Environmental impacts are discussed.
