Section G4aL, Addison Route Supplementary Subsurface Investigation
The subsurface conditions along the subway alignment at the Large Town Center Station and at the parking lots of the Summerfield and Largo Town Center Stations were investigated by making 14 borings and six test pits at the area. The study is part of the Phase III of preliminary subsurface investigation to provide geotechnical information in connection with the preparation of general plan drawings and preliminary design at 30% level. Three borings were drilled and six test pits were excavated at the planned locations of the place. This report contains geological sections, logs of borings, results of laboratory tests on samples recovered, and text describing design and construction problems.
