As part of its cooperative agreement with the ATSDR, the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals/Office of Public Health/Section of Environmental Epidemiology and Toxicology (LDHH/OPH/SEET) reviewed water data summarized in the 2011 Ground Water Monitoring Report: North Ryan Street/Lake Charles Manufactured Gas Plant Site. SEET assessed this data to determine whether any contaminants remaining in the sites groundwater or in adjacent water sources could pose harm to public health.
