Investigations of Seismic and Sonic Disturbances
The scientific personnel returned to Ames to calibrate and reconstruct the sonic gear which suffered from exposure. Additional scientific personnel were added to the Sonic program staff. Several consultants were visited on the meteorological aspect of the program and included ONR and NOL in Washington, D. C., Johns Hopkins University Laboratory at Seabrook Farms, and Brookhaven National laboratory in New York. In conclusion, for the year no significant data was gathered. Preliminary work was done, a field site was selected, and equipment was procured and constructed.
