Antiphase Boundary Migration and Domain Coarsening in Bulk and Thin-Foil Fe-Al Specimens
Abstract The dynamics of microstructural coarsening processes has interested the materials science and condensed matter physics communities for a number of years now. There are many fascinating aspects of these problems, and much theoretical work on such problems has been done. One of the simplest processes to model is the coarsening of antiphase domains in ordered crystal structures like B2 (CsCl) having only two sublattices.
