Initial and final setting time of concrete in hot weather
Abstract Initial and final setting time of concrete tests were conducted in hot weather. The effect of field temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity, and admixture on setting time of concrete were studied. Two correlations based on a single OPC for predicting the initial and final setting times of concrete in hot weather were developed.
Résumé Des essais sur le temps de prise initial et final du béton ont été effectués par temps chaud. Les effets de la température extérieure, de la relative humidité, de la vitesse du vent et de l’admixtion sur le temps de prise initial et final du béton ont été étudiés. Deux corrélations basées sur un seul ciment Portland ordinaire pour prédire le temps de prise initial et final du béton ont été développées.
