Free Surface Calculations with Bottom Slope Effect
The change of the free-surface curve in a prismatic channel with supercritical bottom slope is analyzed. Experimental data are compared to the free-surface curve plotted using the basic equation of nonuniform motion. It is shown that the bottom slope should be taken into account in free-surface calculations.
