Attracting and Retaining the Next Generation of Water Industry Professionals: A Young Professional's Perspective
This article is a summary of survey responses of approximately 40 new and young water industry professionals to questions on motivation to pursue a career in the drinking water industry. Topics discussed include: make the connection ‐ water industry and socially meaningful careers; accentuate the positives ‐ security, health care, and retirement; work‐life balance ‐ knowing why it's important; and, invest in your employees.
