Construction of Post-Tensioned PWR Containments
Pressurized water reactors will be used in more than one-half of the nuclear power plants projected through 1986. Post-tensioned containments structures house more than half the units now operational or under negotiation. Major design, construction innovations, new equipment and techniques and their inter-relationships are examined. The erection sequence, typical quantities, and schedule are presented.
