Performance of Fiberglass Asphalt As Waterproof and Cohesive Layer of Bridge Deck
Epoxy asphalt seal coat, SBS modified emulsified asphalt seal coat and fiberglass asphalt seal coat are selected as the waterproof and cohesive layer of cement concrete bridge deck pavement. Laboratory test method will be carried on to analyze their shear performance, bond performance and fatigue performance comparatively. The result indicates that, as the waterproof and cohesive layer, the shear performance, bond performance and fatigue performance of SBS modified emulsified asphalt seal coat are poorer than the others. When added fiberglass and become the fiberglass asphalt seal coat, all of the three performances are improved greatly, especially fatigue performance has come close to the epoxy asphalt waterproof and cohesive layer, which properties are excellent.
