Modeling and Control of Urban Expressway Traffic Flow
First, the high-order macroscopic models are briefly reviewed and discussed. Then, a hierarchical control system consisting of three control layers is developed, taking ramp metering as the control measure. Finally, a simulation test is conducted to show the effect and robustness of the overall control structure.
