Hydraulics of Single Span Arch Bridge Construction
Series of model tests were run for condition of no skew, no eccentricity, and no entrance rounding; generalized backwater equation is presented, by means of which backwater superelevation may be evaluated in terms of bridge span, stream width and Froude number of approaching flow.
