Characteristics of Passenger Car Side Pole Impacts
A total of 29 passenger car side pole impacts were analyzed for this study. Characteristics of passenger car side pole impacts were summarized in depth, including impact velocity, impact angle, impact area, force direction, injuries and deaths, injuries per body region. The passenger injury risk in different impact velocity and angel was analyzed in order to understand the injury mechanism and evaluation index. It hoped to provide reference for the setting of pole side impact standards and C-NCAP.
