Restoration of a Concrete Arch Railroad Bridge
A description of a project to renovate a concrete arch bridge constructed in 1910 carrying a rail line is presented. Alternate construction methods, using cast-in-place and precast concrete, will be discussed, as are challenges that were presented during construction. Various details that were incorporated into the project are also discussed.
