A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The basic idea was to establish the maximum stresses producible at all sections of all spans by the heaviest existing locomotive loadings. The composite results showed a variation in equivalent Cooper ratings ranging Tom E -75 for the shorter spans to E-60 for the longer ones.
