Study on the Horizontal Bearing Capacity of Pile Foundation in Slope under Vertical and Moment Loads
The pile in slope under complex load is a very complex pile-soil system. In order to study the bearing capacity of pile in slope under the vertical and moment loads, and the effects of different moment loads on horizontal bearing capacity, a model test were studied. The test results showed that under the effect of applying vertical load in advance. With the increase of the bending moment load, the horizontal bearing capacity of the pile top is reduced. The bending moment increased from 0 N·m to 45 N·m, and the horizontal ultimate bearing capacity decreased from 396 N to 297 N. The moment load has a significant effect on the horizontal ultimate bearing capacity.
