Stochastic Generation of Annual Streamflows
Various short and long memory annual streamflow generation models are described and applied to a set of Australian streams. Based on the results, a Markov model is recommended for streams having small Hurst coefficient while for moderate to large Hurst coefficients, a broken line model is satisfactory.
