Analysis of Job-Housing Distribution and Job-Housing Balance in Kunming
The city scale expanding leads to the imbalance of job-housing and increases commuting distance. Based on the analysis of urban building census data, cellular signaling data and Gaode POI data in Kunming, it is found that the area of the second ring road is a concentrated area of population and employment. Although rail transit plays an important role in the whole urban traffic network, it accounts for a low proportion of commuting. Further, the degree of job-housing balance index and the influencing factors system of job-housing balance is established. According to the result of regression model, the land mixing, the area of public service facilities, residential facilities and school facilities, and public transport accessibility significantly influence job-housing balance. Then, the paper suggests the layout optimization of construction land, and the depth of the fusion between urban land and rail transit in order to improve the level of job-housing balance.
