Flow from Drainage Basins Determined by Short-Term Records
A small number of short-term records of runoff of less than 10 years' duration are becoming avail able from the agricultural watersheds of Soil Conservation Experiment Stations, U. S. Department of Agriculture, throughout the various climatic regions of the United States. Data from one of these stations, at LaCrosse, Wis., are presented utilizing these relatively short records to derive values of maximum rates of flow for various recurrence intervals.
