Flow from drainage basins determined by short term records
Short term records of run-off of less than 10-yr duration are available from agricultural watersheds of Soil Conservation Experiment Stations, U S Dept Agriculture, throughout various climatic regions of United States; data from one of these stations, at La Crosse, Wis, are presented utilizing these records to derive values of maximum rates of flow for various recurrence intervals. (See also - discussion n 8 Oct 1945 p 1311-2)
